Often it is a tragedy that can lead to one of the greatest triumphs of our lives. In 2002 at the urging of my therapist I began a coaching business in 2006 to assist others in taking the journey of aligning their purpose, mission and/or vision. Yes, it took me four years to activate the vision! I asked the question after a very public divorce “What purpose does God have for me now?” I have served as a mentor and coach prior to starting P3 Coaching and Consulting in 2006. It was what I had been doing without a title or training for many years. As I experienced the healing of counseling, I could see clearly what God had in store, at least the first step.

That was 2006. After serving on two church staffs and working corporately in outplacement I began to recognize skills and expertise that I never knew I had. It’s that situation when you think everybody does what you do as effortlessly. I realized that my experience in leading teams, executing programs, developing content, planning and managing large scale projects and budgets, leading a virtual team to company-wide recognition and to resetting performance goals across the country all served to show me what God has placed in me. Even the work of leading ministry teams in large scale church-wide and ministry specific initiatives across multiple campus locations, developing ministry manuals, training and developing leaders, has proven to me that God had indeed given me purpose. The joy in my journey has been preaching and teaching, mentoring and positively impacting the lives of students, CEOs, Executives, professionals, and church leaders through coaching.
